Boomerang Bags is a community driven initiative tackling plastic pollution at the grassroots level. Our dedicated volunteers get together regularly to make quality re-usable bags using recycled materials as a means to provide a sustainable alternative to plastic bags.  Through Boomerang Bags we start conversations, make friends and are working towards shifting the communities throw away mentality one needle and thread at a time. You can purchase our boomerang bags at the Lachlan Shire Library and also at Lachlan and Western Regional Services for only $4.00.

If you would like to donate pre-loved fabric which will go into making more bags, please drop off at the Condobolin Library or call 0499 199 018. All volunteers (and skill levels) welcome, you don’t need to know how to sew to help out – please call me for details! We would love to have you join us.
